Two high school basketball stars signed to play for Virginia Union University head coach coach Barvenia Wooten-Collier as VUU announced the signing of Courtney Warren and Ashle' Freeman.
Warren, a 5-6 guard out of Riverdale Baptist High School in Upper Marlboro, Md., led Riverdale Baptist to a 30-4 record in 2010-11, with the Washington Post newspaper ranking the team number-one.
Freeman, a 5-6 guard from Henrico County High School in Richmond, Va., led Henrico in scoring while leading the Warriors to an 18-5 record. Freeman once recorded a quadruple double, scoring 10 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, dishing out 10 assists and snagging 10 steals in a single game.
