Seniors and captains of the 2010 Virginia Union University football team as well as the VUU Cheerleaders, the Rah Rahs, were on hand in the L. Douglas Library on August 19 at the 2010 Football Reception.

VUU Head Football Coach Michael Bailey fielded questions from the an audience which included VUU President Dr. Claude Perkins and members of the media as well as the VUU Boosters.

Associate Athletic Director Dave Robbins unveiled the 2010 football poster, which sports the motto "Knowledge is Power."  After the question and answer session, members of the football team signed copies of the program for all those in attendance.

VUU stages the Maroon & Steel Scrimmage on Saturday, August 21, at 6:30 p.m. in Hovey Field before opening the season against Winston-Salem State University on August 28 in High Point, N.C.
