Vicki Collier, who starred for Old Dominion University's women's basketball teams for the past four seasons, has joined the Virginia Union University's women's basketball team and volleyball team as an assistant coach.
Collier, who is the daughter of VUU head women's basketball coach Barvenia Wooten-Collier, played in 32 games for the Lady Monarchs in 2009-10.
At Riverdale Baptist High School, Collier was a McDonald's All-American Nominee and Top Ten Adidas All-American. She was named Fourth Team All-Met by the Washington Post. Collier netted over 1,000 career points and was 50 rebounds shy of reaching 1,000.
